This module equips learners with practical techniques to prevent radicalization, distinguishing primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention and identifying early warning signs and risk/protective factors.

Learning Objectives

Distinguish the three levels of prevention (primary, secondary, tertiary) and apply the public health model to the classification of interventions.

Identify early warning signs and risk/protective factors, and describe procedures for case management and interdisciplinary referral (school–services–community).

Assess the individual, cognitive, and social impacts of radicalization, and develop communication and advocacy strategies that foster a critical and inclusive ecological culture.
